About the Project

The Ride-Sharing Mobile Application was designed to provide users with a safe, reliable, and convenient way to book rides anytime, anywhere. The goal was to build a seamless platform where passengers can quickly find drivers, track rides in real time, and pay effortlessly, while drivers get access to consistent ride requests, navigation support, and transparent earnings.

The Problem

Rydo commuters often face difficulties with unreliable local transport, inconsistent fares, and a lack of safety and transparency. Existing ride-sharing options don’t always address localized payment methods, cultural expectations, and trust factors that users demand. Both riders and drivers need a system that is simple, transparent, and optimized for daily use.

The Solution

We designed and developed a user-centric mobile application that solves these challenges:

For Riders: Instant ride booking, smart pickup suggestions, live driver tracking, safety features (emergency button, ride sharing), and multiple payment options (cash, card, mobile wallet).

For Drivers: Easy onboarding and verification, real-time ride requests, integrated navigation, earnings dashboard, and performance incentives.

For Admins: Centralized dashboard to monitor rides, resolve disputes, and analyze data for improved operations.

The UX strategy focused on clarity, trust, and accessibility, ensuring the app is intuitive for first-time users while scalable for advanced features like carpooling, loyalty rewards, and subscription models.
